Shalina Parveen, a senior administrative officer, was born at Comilla in Bangladesh. She obtained her Master Degree in political science from the University of Dhaka in 1995. She started her career as an administrative officer in an NGO “AWDC” (Associate for the Welfare of disadvantaged children) in Bangladesh, sponsored by “Partage” of France, where she worked in various orphanages for 9 years.

At present, she is working as a senior administrative officer in “Beautiful Mind” – (A Special Center for Autistic and Mentally Challenged Children) at Uttara, Dhaka, since 2004. She is also a Director of Special Olympics Bangladesh since 2011. She is also involved with various social works on a personal basis.
