After working for the World Bank for over 38 years in various capacities, Mr. Nurul Alam retired in May 2014. His last assignment with the World Bank was as Senior Procurement Specialist and Procurement Hub Leader for Europe and Central Asia Region. Prior to that Mr. Alam had worked in East Asia and South Asia regions. Before joining the World Bank, Mr. Alam served as Lecturer at Chittagong University for nearly two years in 1976-1977.
