In total 192 Special Athletes from all over Bangladesh, identified through Talent Hunt program, participated in Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Bocce, Football, Handball, Swimming & Volleyball. 50 Judges, Coaches, and Trainers of SO Bangladesh conducted the program.
Dr. Shamim Matin Chowdhury, Chairman of Special Olympics, inaugurated the competition. Brig. Gen. Anwar Sadat Abu Moohmmad Fuad,psc, DIrector General, BKSP, was the chief guest at closing ceremony and awarded the prizes to the winners.
Mr. Nurul Alam, Vice Chairman, Mr Faruqul Islam, National Director, Dr Hafizur Rahman, Director and Mrs Mamtaz Sultana, Advisor of SO Bangladesh were also present.
